New USP regulations that went into effect December 2013 requires closures / ferrules on injectable drugs to be free from any words or logos that are not intrinsically required for proper dispensing (eg: "Must dilute prior to use"). The words "Flip Off" embossed in the plastic are not appropriate in the USA. The new style of "West Matte" Flip Off vial cap seal meet these new regulations. No words or logos are embossed into the plastic; the surface of the plastic cap is a matte finish that resists scratching during transit.
